Lumen Christi Parish is seeking to hire a fulltime Director of Catholic Formation. This position oversees all aspects of the parish's catechetical program, including sacramental preparation and the broader formation of the faith community. Additionally, this position supervises the Catholic Formation staff and also serves on the Parish Leadership Team.

Director of Catholic Formation - Major Responsibilities

• Oversees and directs a coordinated approach to parish wide formation, including sacramental preparation 
• Designs, administers, and fosters all aspects of adult formation using a holistic approach to Scripture, Theology and Spirituality
• Provides on-going opportunities for prayer and fellowship for parish staff, catechists, and volunteers
• Supervises members of the Catholic Formation staff
• Fosters a collaborative relationship with Lumen Christi School

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Religious Education/Theology/Pastoral Studies or related area; Master's preferred
• At least three years of experience in parish ministry with leadership/managerial responsibilities 
• Committed to forming a community of missionary disciples to spread the good news of Jesus Christ

Compensation

Type: Annual
Notes: This is a fulltime, benefit eligible position.
