What is the Eucharistic Revival?

The Archdiocese of Milwaukee is officially participating in the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops' (USCCB) call to have a movement of “Eucharistic Revival” across the nation. We are joining countless bishops, dioceses, parishes, and apostolates to be healed, converted, formed, and unified by an encounter with Jesus in the Eucharist — and sent out in mission “for the life of the world.” The mission of the Revival is “to renew the Church by enkindling a living relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist.”

Connect to Christ this winter with Emmaus 90From New Year’s to Easter, join with pilgrims from around the Archdiocese of Milwaukee to deepen your faith with the Emmaus 90 program. Over 90 days, you will invite Jesus to draw near, unpack the Scriptures, reveal himself in the Eucharist, and inspire you to go out on mission to others.
Pilgrims who participate in Emmaus 90 will receive daily prayer prompts, challenges to grow in holiness, robust formation sessions (by livestream on Thursdays or recording), and discussions for your small group and family.
We invite you to take part in this program with a small group of 2-3 friends, family members, or fellow parishioners so you can connect weekly, encourage one another, and join together for discussion. Invite your family and friends to A Five-Part Series on Eucharistic Spirituality:
“Do This in Memory of Me”
Presented by Dr. David Stosur (Marquette University)
The Catholic Church emphasizes the importance of attending and participating in the Eucharist – the Mass – as the “source and summit” of the Church’s life. Come and find out why this is. In this series, we will explore together several of the most significant themes that emerge from deepening our awareness and appreciation of Christ’s Eucharistic gift of himself to us and our response in prayer, praise, and action.

All talks are held at Holy Trinity Parish Newburg, 521 Congress Street, in the Church Hall. Please note: The Church Hall is not handicap accessible.- Sunday, October 8 | 9:15 AM | Eucharist as Communion
- Sunday, November 5 | 9:15 AM | Eucharist as Real Presence
- Sunday, February 4 | 9:15 AM | Eucharist as Sacred Meal
- Sunday, March 3 | 9:15 AM | Eucharist as Sacrifice
- Saturday, April 6 | 5:30 PM | Eucharist as Way of Life
The Sunday presentations will be held at Holy Trinity Parish in Newburg after 8:00 AM Mass and will end before the 10:30am Mass to allow you to attend either Mass.If you can’t make all the dates, no worries attend as many as you can. If you have questions on the Eucharist for Dr. Stosur, you can call the parish office, 262-675-6256, before the presentation, and we will get them to Dr. Stosur ahead of time.
