The Pastoral Care Commission develops, oversees, and evaluates all parish ministries that bring pastoral service to those in need, including ministries to the homebound, hospitalized, and those in crisis situations.
Bereavement Ministry
Bereavement Ministry is a group of parishioners who minister to those in the parish who have lost a loved one by attending the funeral, sending cards, and visiting in the home. This ministry is a program based on the Scripture story of Mary's visit to her cousin, Elizabeth, during their pregnancies. The Elizabeth Ministry is a response to the needs of women during special times in their lives. By sharing personal stories and similar experiences, women are able to support, encourage, and assist one another during these unique times of their lives.
