| WHY? |
The retreat experience provided by the home parish is viewed as an essential part of the Christian Formation process. Students will have time for reflection, prayer, discussion, games, structured activities, hiking, and mass. It is hoped that each student will grow through this experience in both their intellectual and spiritual understanding of God. |
| HOW? |
All students will travel by way of a yellow school
bus. |
| ETC? |
Students must attend one, full Catholic-sponsored overnight retreat before their entering into the 11th grade Confirmation Program. No leaving early or arriving late! Students and their parents are expected to read and follow the Catholic Formation Retreat Rules and Regulations. In the event of inappropriate behavior, parents will be asked to pick up their teen immediately. *An overview of the retreat schedule is available upon request! |
| WHAT TO BRING: |
(Parent Chaperones Needed!)
- sleeping bag or bedding (bed & pillow provided)
- toiletries, towel, shower sandals, gym shoes
- appropriate clothing for both indoors and outdoors*
*No Alcohol ads, bare midriffs or spaghetti straps
- OPTIONAL: guitar, musical instrument, camera
- snacks to share
- thermos/mug for hot cocoa/coffee
- journal/Bible
- an open mind

- cell phones, Ipods, CD or MP3 players, pagers
- video games, radios, headphones/earbuds
- alcohol/drugs
- tobacco products
- homework
- anything that would drive a retreat leader crazy!
